A redesign should be sequenced around business continuity. Keep high-performing pages stable while positioning, structure, and new templates are worked through. Move riskier changes behind clear milestones and validation criteria.
The point is not to slow down. The point is to avoid coupling every messaging, SEO, design, and implementation decision into one giant launch that is hard to inspect and harder to recover from.
The best redesigns feel incremental from the inside, even if they look dramatic from the outside.
