Privacy Policy
We keep personal data use focused on running the studio, responding to enquiries, delivering client work, and keeping our services secure. We do not sell customer data or use it for third-party advertising. This policy explains how we handle data on the Ulties website and platform.
1. Who is responsible
Ulties is a Danish sole proprietorship (enkeltmandsvirksomhed), represented by Mark Topper Diderichsen, and is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Our public business identifiers are CVR 37187569, VAT ID DK37187569 and DUNS 305672080.
Our business address is Farum Hovedgade 2B, st. 3, 3520 Farum, Denmark. Contact us at hello@ulties.com or +45 5251 2070.
2. What we collect
Enquiry data: information you choose to submit through a contact form or email, such as your name, email address, company, phone number, budget range, subject, and message.
Customer platform data: account and contact details, project information, messages, files, and other content customers choose to enter or make available for collaboration and delivery.
Business and service data: contract, invoice, payment, and correspondence records needed to run an engagement and meet Danish accounting and tax obligations.
Technical data: information needed to deliver and secure the services, which may include IP address, request time, browser or device information, URLs, error data, and security logs.
3. Why and on what basis
We use enquiry and account data to respond to requests, prepare proposals, set up access, communicate with customers, and deliver the agreed services. This is generally necessary to take steps at your request or perform a contract.
We use business records to invoice, receive payment, maintain accounts, and comply with legal obligations, including applicable Danish bookkeeping and tax rules.
We use technical and security data to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the website and platform. Depending on the context, this is based on our legitimate interests in providing a secure service or another legal basis required by law.
Where consent is legally required, we ask for it before processing. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.
4. Customer platform data
The platform is self-owned by Ulties and is used to keep project delivery and collaboration moving. We limit access to the small group of people and collaborators who need it for the work.
The role we play depends on the service and the data involved. Where a customer determines the purposes and means of processing and Ulties processes data on the customer's instructions, the engagement and any applicable data-processing terms govern that processing. Customers remain responsible for having the permissions and notices required for data they put into the platform.
5. Analytics and cookies
We use a self-hosted, cookieless analytics solution to understand aggregate site usage and improve the website. It is not used for cross-site advertising or marketing profiles. Cookieless does not automatically mean that all technical data is anonymous, so we still handle any personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection rules.
We do not use analytics cookies. The notice banner may store a small preference in your browser so it does not appear on every visit; this is not a tracking cookie. The platform may use strictly necessary storage or cookies where needed for authentication, security, or core functionality.
6. Cloudflare, hosting, and sharing
We use Cloudflare across our sites for DNS, delivery, security, caching, and hosting services. Cloudflare operates a global network, so request and security data may be processed at Cloudflare locations outside the EU depending on the service and configuration. Cloudflare's data-processing terms and applicable transfer safeguards govern that processing.
The origin, application, and self-hosted analytics infrastructure we control is hosted within the EU. For contact enquiries, we may route the information you submit to our internal Slack workspace so the small team can respond. Slack is a third-party communications service and may process data outside the EU under its own terms and applicable transfer safeguards. We may also share information with trusted service providers, accountants, payment providers, professional advisers, or authorities where necessary to operate the studio, provide the service, comply with law, or protect rights. We do not share customer data with advertising networks.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, the customer relationship, security, dispute handling, or a legal obligation. Accounting and invoice records may need to be retained for the period required by Danish bookkeeping and tax rules. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous where appropriate.
8. Security
We use practical technical and organisational safeguards, including access control and limited internal access, to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please do not place data in the platform unless you are authorised to do so and the service is appropriate for it.
9. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in GDPR, you may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal data. You may also object to certain processing and request data portability where applicable. Send a request to hello@ulties.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the period required by law.
You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) if you believe your data is being handled unlawfully. We encourage you to contact us first so we can understand and address the issue.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The latest version is published here and dated above.
Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to hello@ulties.com or +45 5251 2070.
