A naming, identity, copy, and website project for CoRESCUE, built to help an open-source emergency ventilator initiative communicate clearly with healthcare stakeholders, engineers, and the wider public during the COVID-19 crisis.

CoRESCUE was working against extreme time pressure while developing an affordable emergency ventilator during the pandemic. The project needed a credible public-facing identity and website quickly, while the underlying product also had to navigate approvals, engineering constraints, and urgent healthcare relevance.
Built the public launch surface around clarity and trust, giving the initiative a name, identity, copy, and website that could explain both the engineering effort and the humanitarian purpose behind it.
Positioned the project as a serious open-source medical initiative rather than a speculative concept, with design and messaging that emphasized scientific rigor, solidarity, and practical value for healthcare systems.
Used simple, legible visual language and universal iconography so the project could be understood quickly by a broad audience spanning hospitals, collaborators, and supporters.
Supported the rollout with organic SEO and a web presence designed to act as the project's home base while the underlying ventilator effort moved at crisis speed.
